Australian firm PointsBet, which is gradually gaining a presence in the US, have increased their service offering in the state of Michigan by adding a live dealer function to its site.
Over the last couple of years, the operator has started to make its mark in the global online gambling industry, though it has focused most of its efforts on the burgeoning US market recently.
Partnership with Evolution
Renowned online gambling software provider Evolution currently leads the way in live dealer gaming and they have gone from strength to strength over the years. This means that Michigan residents can enjoy a wide selection of the best live dealer games currently on the market, courtesy of a premium software provider.
With live dealer games such as baccarat, blackjack, roulette, craps and poker – in many different forms, PointsBet can offer a plethora of options to enthusiasts, looking to really diversify and add to their online gambling experience.
Since gaining industry approval in January, the market in Michigan has been on an upwards trajectory, showing incremental signs of improvement each month, in both sports betting and online gambling.
PointsBet can now compete
Despite already having a good sportsbook and online casino offering, adding the live casino function to their asset in Michigan, will be able to allow them to compete effectively in the state, alongside other operators, such as the US-owned firms, DraftKings and FanDuel, who already have a significant share of the market.
Over the last few years, live casino has become considerably popular with gamblers, who prefer the more authentic experience of being in a casino, with the live dealer element adding something to their gameplay.
While this is still quite a relatively new function in the US, it means that PointsBet can attempt to claw back a substantial share of the market.
